What are porcelain veneers?
A porcelain veneer is a thin shell of ceramic bonded to the front surface of a tooth to change its colour, shape, or alignment. Veneers are used for smile makeovers: closing gaps, correcting mild crowding, masking discolouration, and reshaping worn or uneven teeth.

Emax porcelain veneers typically last 10 to 15 years with proper care. Longevity depends on oral hygiene, diet, and whether you grind your teeth. Our clinics use lithium disilicate pressable ceramics, which offer the best combination of strength and translucency available today.
Do veneers damage your natural teeth?
Conservative preparation removes only 0.3 to 0.5mm of enamel from the front surface of each tooth. This is significantly less than a full crown preparation. Our cosmetic specialists use digital smile design to plan the minimal preparation needed for each case. The result is a strong bond that protects the underlying tooth.
Can I choose the shade of my veneers?
Yes. During the digital smile design session on Day 1, you and your cosmetic specialist select the shade, shape, and translucency together. A digital mockup shows you the expected result before any preparation begins. Adjustments can be made at the try-in stage before final bonding.
How long do I need to stay in India for veneers?
A typical veneer case takes 5 to 7 days. Day 1 for consultation and digital planning, Day 2 for tooth preparation and temporary veneers, then 2 to 3 days while the lab fabricates your permanent veneers, followed by try-in and final bonding. Recovery is minimal since no surgery is involved.
What is the difference between Emax and composite veneers?
Emax (lithium disilicate) veneers are lab-fabricated porcelain with superior strength, colour stability, and natural translucency. Composite veneers are applied directly and are less expensive but stain over time and typically last 5 to 7 years compared to 10 to 15 for porcelain. Our clinics exclusively use Emax for international patients.
