Root canal. Bone grafting. Done right.

Not every dental trip is about implants or a full smile makeover. Sometimes you need a root canal by a proper endodontist, or bone grafting to prepare for future implants. Same standard. Same fixed pricing. Same coordinator.

Root canal treatment

Microscopic endodontics with same-day crowns

Root canal treatment removes infected or inflamed pulp tissue from inside a tooth. The canals are cleaned, shaped, and sealed to prevent reinfection. The tooth is then restored with a zirconia crown on the same day.

Our endodontists use dental operating microscopes with magnification up to 25x and rotary NiTi instrumentation for faster, more predictable canal preparation. Combined with electronic apex locators for precise length measurement, the result is a thorough, predictable clean. Most cases are completed in 2 to 3 appointments over 3 to 5 days.

Clinic standards for root canal

MDS endodontist

Every root canal is performed by a specialist with a Master of Dental Surgery in conservative dentistry and endodontics.

Dental operating microscope

Magnification up to 25x reveals canal anatomy invisible to the naked eye. Critical for locating hidden canals and ensuring complete cleaning.

Rotary NiTi instrumentation

Flexible nickel-titanium files clean and shape canals faster and more predictably than manual filing.

Same-day zirconia crown

On-site milling lab fabricates zirconia crowns within hours. No temporary crown period.

Indicative pricing

2 molar root canals with same-day zirconia crowns: from $280 treatment only. Equivalent UK cost: over £3,000. Over 90% savings.

Bone grafting

Pre-implant jaw reconstruction by oral surgeons

Dental bone grafting rebuilds jawbone lost due to extraction, periodontal disease, or prolonged missing teeth. Without adequate bone volume, implants cannot be placed safely. Grafting restores the foundation needed for successful implant integration.

Common techniques include guided bone regeneration (GBR) using xenograft material and collagen membrane, ridge augmentation to widen a narrow ridge, and sinus lift to create depth for upper jaw implants. Our oral surgeons use CBCT-guided planning and established materials (Bio-Oss, Geistlich). 3 to 5 days in India; healing happens at home over the following months.

Clinic standards for bone grafting

MDS oral surgeon

Every bone graft is performed by a specialist with a Master of Dental Surgery in oral and maxillofacial surgery.

CBCT-guided planning

Cone beam 3D imaging maps the bone defect precisely. Graft volume and membrane placement are planned before surgery.

Established graft materials

Xenograft bone substitutes and collagen membranes from globally recognised manufacturers. Geistlich, Bio-Oss, and equivalent brands.

Implant continuity

The same clinic handles your bone graft and your future implant placement. One team, one record, one treatment plan.

Indicative pricing

Guided bone regeneration (xenograft + membrane): from $500 treatment only. Equivalent UK cost: over £1,500. Over 70% savings.

Common questions

Root canal and bone grafting FAQs

Is root canal treatment painful?

Modern root canal treatment is performed under local anaesthesia and is typically no more uncomfortable than a filling. Most patients report that the procedure itself is painless. Post-treatment soreness lasts 1 to 3 days and is managed with standard painkillers. Our endodontists use rotary instrumentation, which is faster and more predictable than manual filing.

Why do I need a crown after root canal?

A root canal removes the nerve and blood supply from inside the tooth. Without this nourishment, the tooth becomes brittle over time and is more likely to fracture under chewing forces. A zirconia crown protects the tooth and restores full function. Our clinics fit the crown on the same day as the root canal to minimise the risk of contamination or fracture.

Can I combine root canal with other treatments?

Yes. Root canal treatment is frequently combined with crowns, bridges, or implant planning. If you need multiple treatments, your itinerary will be built to sequence them efficiently. Root canal is typically completed first, then crowns or other restorations follow.

Why do I need bone grafting before implants?

When teeth are missing for an extended period, the jawbone gradually resorbs (shrinks). If the remaining bone is too thin or too shallow to support an implant, grafting rebuilds the bone volume to a level where implants can be placed safely. Your CBCT scan on Day 1 determines whether grafting is needed and which technique is appropriate.

How long does bone grafting take to heal?

Healing time depends on the type of graft. A socket preservation graft heals in 3 to 4 months. Ridge augmentation and guided bone regeneration (GBR) typically require 4 to 6 months. Sinus lifts may need 6 to 9 months before the area is ready for implants. You return home and heal there. Your implant placement is scheduled after healing is confirmed.

Can bone grafting and implants be done in the same trip?

In some cases, yes. Minor bone grafting (socket grafts, small GBR) can sometimes be performed simultaneously with implant placement. This is assessed during your Day 1 CBCT scan. For larger grafts (sinus lifts, major ridge augmentation), the graft must heal fully before implants are placed, requiring a separate visit 4 to 9 months later.
