The procedure
What are crowns and bridges?
A dental crown is a cap that covers a damaged, decayed, or weakened tooth, restoring its shape, strength, and appearance. A bridge spans a gap left by one or more missing teeth, using adjacent teeth or implants as anchors. Both are permanently cemented and function like natural teeth.
Our clinics use zirconia, the strongest ceramic material available for dental restorations. Monolithic zirconia is used for posterior teeth where chewing forces are highest. Layered zirconia, with hand-applied porcelain for natural translucency, is used for visible front teeth. Each restoration is designed digitally and milled from a solid zirconia blank using CAD/CAM (computer-aided design and manufacturing) systems.
With on-site milling labs, there is no external laboratory delay. Your prosthodontist designs the restoration, the lab mills it on the same floor, and adjustments happen face to face. The same workflow used in top practices globally. At a fraction of the cost.

Common questions
Crown and bridge FAQs
How long do zirconia crowns last?
Zirconia crowns have a documented lifespan of 15 to 20 years with proper oral hygiene. Zirconia is the strongest ceramic material available for dental restorations, with fracture resistance comparable to metal. It does not chip, stain, or corrode over time.
What is the difference between zirconia and porcelain crowns?
Zirconia is significantly stronger than traditional porcelain, making it ideal for posterior teeth that bear heavy chewing forces. Layered zirconia offers excellent aesthetics for front teeth, with natural translucency that rivals traditional porcelain. Our clinics use monolithic zirconia for molars and layered zirconia for visible teeth.
How many appointments do crowns require?
With on-site digital milling, most crown cases require 2 to 3 appointments over 5 to 7 days. The first appointment covers preparation, scanning, and temporary crowns. The milling lab fabricates the permanent restorations within 1 to 3 days. The final appointment is for try-in, adjustment, and permanent cementation.
Is a dental bridge better than implants?
It depends on the case. A bridge uses adjacent teeth as supports and does not require surgery. Implants preserve bone and do not affect neighbouring teeth. Your prosthodontist will recommend the best option based on the condition of adjacent teeth, bone health, and your overall treatment goals. Both options are available through our network.
Can I fly home the same week as crown placement?
Yes. Crown and bridge work does not involve surgery and has no flight restrictions. Your final appointment includes a bite check and cementation verification. Most patients are cleared to travel the same day as their final fitting.
